Size Guide

The right fit makes every walk, nap and outfit better. Measure your dog, find the size below, and you're set.

How to measure

  • NeckAround the base of the neck, where a collar sits. Keep the tape snug, not tight, and leave room for two fingers.
  • ChestAround the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
  • Back lengthFrom the base of the neck to the base of the tail.

No tape measure? Wrap a piece of string around, then measure the string with a ruler. All measurements are in inches.

Walk

Collars

There are no standard collar sizes, so measure your dog's neck first. This chart covers every collar, including bow tie and lady bow collars and the collars in our walk sets.

Size Neck Width
XS 8–11” 5/8”
S 11–16” 5/8”
M 14–19” 1”
L 18–26” 1”

Sizes overlap because collars adjust. If your dog's neck falls in two ranges, either size fits: choose the slimmer 5/8” width for smaller dogs and the 1” width for larger ones.

Harnesses

Harnesses sit lower than a collar, so measure the neck at its widest point and the chest just behind the front legs. Your harness neck size will be larger than your dog's collar size.

Size Base of neck Chest Strap
XS 10–15” 12–17” 5/8”
S 13–22” 15–25” 5/8”
M 16–26” 18–29” 1”
L 20–33” 23–37” 1”

Leave room for two fingers between the harness and your dog's body. Our Tactical harnesses list their own measurements on the product page.

Leashes

Petite is made for smaller dogs. Standard is built for bigger dogs and extra control.

Specification Petite Standard
Dog weight Up to 40 lbs 40–100 lbs
Length 5 ft 5 ft
Rope diameter 5/16” 3/8”
Weight 5–6 oz 8–9 oz

Because of its smaller clasp, we don't recommend the Petite leash for dogs over 40 lbs.

Bandanas

Measure your dog's neck and pick the size that covers it. When in doubt, size up.

Size Fits necks up to Top to point
S 13” 7”
M 18” 9.5”
L 26” 11.5”

Bows & bow ties

Choose by your dog's size and the look you want. Both attach with elastic loops on the back.

Bow ties

Size Width × height Best for
Small 4” × 2.5” Smaller dogs, classic look
Large 5” × 3.5” Bigger dogs or long fur

Lady bows

Size Width × height Best for
Small 4.5” × 4.5” Smaller dogs
Large 5.5” × 5.5” Bigger dogs or long fur
